Founded by Iolanda Soica, Dream Moving is proud to be a woman-owned business making a difference in an industry that’s often fast-paced and impersonal. With over five years in business, our team is committed to doing things differently — with attention, empathy, and an eye for detail.

Our story

Dream Moving was created to simplify one of life’s most overwhelming events: moving. After years of working in the hospitality sector and later as a licensed customs broker, Iolanda saw firsthand what great service really looks like,  and also how rare it was in the moving world.

Born and raised in Europe, she came to the U.S. in 2005 with strong values of integrity, hard work, and care for the customer — values that now define Dream Moving. She saw a clear gap in the industry: people were paying too much for service that didn’t always deliver.

So she set out to build a company that combined European quality standards with New York energy. What started as a small local operation has grown into a trusted name across NYC, helping hundreds of clients relocate smoothly, safely, and confidently. 

Today, Dream Moving is known not only for fair pricing but for the relationships we build along the way.
